Nestled right within the Gir forest, Maneland Jungle Lodge is a nature lover's paradise. We are the first hotel in Gir, started humbly in 1993. We aim is for our guests to experience the jungle, with the comforts of home.
We share a boundary with the core Gir forest, so don't be surprised if you are woken up to the distant roar of a lion, or sound of a woodpecker. Let the staff pamper you will freshly prepared wholesome meals. Listen to wild stories around a warm bonfire in winter, and hear the night come alive.
We have fifteen rooms, spread over many acres of wilderness. Each room is unique, and crafted with natural stone and eco conscious building materials.
Gir Sanctuary and National Park is the only place is the world to find the majestic Asiatic Lion. It stretches over 1412 square kms of dry deciduous forest in the state of Gujarat, and is easily accessible by road, rail and air.
Gir is home to some of the rarest flora and fauna in the world. These include — the leopard, jungle cat, rusty spotted cat, chital, sambhar and porcupine, amongst others. With over 300 unique species, Gir is also a bird watchers delight, all year round.
